TERMS & CONDITIONS - HAIR EXTENSIONS
By having Trés Chic Hair Extension Specialists fit your new extensions you agree to the terms and conditions set out below.
Hair extensions are available to persons 18+
Consultation
The consultation process is essential for us to understand exactly what you would like to achieve with hair extensions. Together, we will have established what length, colour, thickness and method you want and what would be best suited for your natural hair.
Once this has been decided it cannot be changed. By continuing you understand and agree it is essential you DO NOT change your hair colour, use any purple/silver shampoo if you are blonde or have any haircuts between consultation and fitting. This can drastically change what would be required for the fitting and therefore a new consultation would be required and new fitting date required.
At the consultation stage, it is your responsibility to inform us of any issues, medical or not, that you have or will have, during wearing the hair extensions. Also please inform us of treatments, medication or pregnancy as these can affect the wearing of extensions due to effects that these factors in your personal life have on your natural hair.
Please also inform us if you have any holidays coming up. Wearing extensions on holiday is at your own risk. This can affect the wear of your extensions as sun and heat can cause fading and discolouration. Being on holiday also requires extra aftercare which we will happily go through with you prior to fitting.
Hair Extensions
Trés Chic Hair Extension Specialists are not responsible for any damage caused to your natural hair due to not following the correct aftercare given, not attending maintenance at correct times and also will not be held accountable for the condition of your hair extensions if the recommended hair products are not used. If you do not use these products only you are liable for the costs of replacing your hair extensions.
Trés Chic will not be held responsible nor in any way be liable if you as the wearer decides that the extensions are not suitable for you for whatever reason. IT IS YOUR, AS THE WEARER, RESPONSIBILITY TO CONSIDER THE LOOK, COST AND COMMITMENT INVOLVED PRIOR TO APPLICATION. Trés Chic will always explain every detail and will help you through the entire process and offer a second to none aftercare service.
You understand that refunds are not given in any circumstance. Hair extensions are hygienic goods and cannot be accepted back under any such circumstance once they have been fitted. We guarantee our workmanship for 7 days and will refit any bonds that have come loose, slid out or are visible. This will be when a team member is next free in the salon for an appointment. We will always try and help and if any issues continue past this time. You have the right to cancel within 2 hours after consultation unless otherwise stated such as next day fitting.
In rare instances the hair extensions can irritate the scalp and cause itching, in this case, we will always suggest a solution to resolve any issues. This will be covered by a team member and can be resolved very easily.
Aftercare
Each clients hair type will differ in condition depending on what your past routine has been and colour work. It also ranges on how quickly your natural hair sheds. Trés Chic may have provided a customised aftercare and maintenance routine, perfect for your own hair condition and circumstances, for the health of your natural hair you need to adhere to what is suggested to you.
You will be given aftercare information and will need to strictly adhere to it. If any issues arise please contact Trés Chic directly and we will be happy to help. Maintenance will have to be adhered for the health of your natural hair. Trés Chic will not be held responsible for any issues that are the direct cause of not having the maintenance at the correct intervals (4 to 6 weeks) or following the recommended aftercare. This can be matting that can cause damage to your own hair.
Having your hair extensions removed by any other body could cause issues that Trés Chic will not be liable for. If for any reason you need removal, they must be removed by us to ensure integrity and care is taken to correctly remove them, as we cannot take responsibility for 3rd party removal.
Salon Children, Friends & Family Policy
Please do not bring any young children to your hair extension fitting or maintenance appointments as this can be hazardous with some extension fitting appliances being used. These appointments are usually a minimum of an hour. Your safety is most important to us at all times. Please refrain from bringing friends and family to your fitting appointments unless absolutely necessary. The salon is small and busy so space is required for any other clients waiting for services.
Prices & Payments
Prices are subject to change at any time. We will endeavour to provide notice to price changes to all clients for services. Payments for services are due on the day by cash or card prior to leaving the salon after appointment completion. We cannot accept late payments.
Appointment and cancellations
Cancellation & rescheduling appointments require a minimum of 48 hours notice to allow the appointment to be available for other clients. Any cancellations or rescheduling inside of this time will incur a CHARGE of 50% of the appointment upfront before any future bookings are made unless otherwise agreed. No shows will be charged the full cost before being able to rebook.
Trés Chic has the right to cancel any appointment due to unforeseen or personal reasons which makes the team unavailable. We will endeavour to inform you as the client of this and reschedule for the next available time.
Booking fees are Non-Refundable. We request 50% of the total cost to place the order for the hair extensions and this confirms your fitting date. The remaining balance to cover the fitting will be paid on the fitting date. If you do wish to cancel your fitting after the 2-hour cancellation window, your booking fee will NOT be refunded for any reason
I am aware that the upkeep appointments are recommended and I will keep up with the appointments and ensure to book the appointments in advance and pay for all appointments in full on the day of the appointment by bank transfer, cash or card. I am aware that Trés Chic Hair Extension Specialists do not offer any credit or payment plans directly for any services. I am also aware that I am to provide 48 hours notice for any cancellations or rescheduled appointments if I do not, I understand I will be charged a fee of 50% of my appointment each time and payment would be required upfront.
